I have a page that has banners and a video player. I am using Openx to deliver ads into the player as well as on the page.
The special mod I need is the ability to do companion ad grouping on this page. Because the ads delivered INTO the player are not technically on the page - and the inside of the player can’t respond to cookie requests - the session cannot be identified by Openx as a companion situation.
So I need a way to send a group of ads to different zones (in the same campaign) together.
Is that enough explanation?

I got your requirement. As you said and know, banner delivering through player wont have javascript signature so we cant get companion ads in other zones in page through OpenX.
Anyway still we can see feasibility of this with other method (javascript, cookie or db log) and let you know if it’s possible. We need your flash coding through you are displaying ads so we can test and get back you with possibility and time estimation.
Please provide us one example with banner ads in flash player and by normal zone in one page. Also, if you can give us your ftp/db details then we can see functionality of your flash player to fetch banner (through xml or any other way) and analyze and check possibility to make companion position functionality.
